I am a proud female business owner in downtown Kamloops, running Manhandler Barbershop for over 18 years. With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, family remains my greatest accomplishment and inspiration. My favourite part of being a barber is the friendships I build, the stories shared in the chair, and the privilege of giving back to my community in meaningful ways.

I’ve had the privilege of spending the last 13 years here at Manhandler — where I’ve also been the shop manager for the past 5. I love doing classic cuts and working with clients of all ages, from kids to seniors. People often tell me they appreciate that I’m efficient, kind, and really care about making them feel their best. The part I love most about this job is meeting new people and turning those first haircuts into long-term client relationships. Outside of the shop you can find me at the lake or camping by a fire.

I’m all about great energy, good conversation, and meeting awesome people from all walks of life. As a mom, I’ve got a soft spot for kids’ cuts — making sure they have a fun, easy, and comfortable experience every time.

I got into the trade after learning to care for my own curly hair—and now I love helping others find their style. I'm creative, professional, and always up for a good conversation. Outside the shop, I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business and spending time with my pets while also advancing my ability in my trade.

Hi, I’m Cooper! I’m 5 years old and the official greeter here at the shop. My job is to make sure everyone feels welcome—with tail wags, cuddles, and maybe a little show if you’ve got treats. I take payment in belly rubs and biscuits. Stick around long enough and I might even share the couch with you while you wait for your haircut!
